I had a dream last night that I actually updated my blog. But I couldn't remember if it was a dream or not, so I checked to see what I had written. Alas, no update. Sucks.

Things I've learned during Welcome Week:
1) There's a crazy secret mysterious freakish Polish world out there!
2) Beer pong is not only fun, it's addicting.
3) I love my cats more than I love my family. Or at least, I miss them more.
4) It's impossible to come back from Alaina's house sober.
5) Shake it like a Polaroid picture!
6) Urinating on your roommate's stuff is not a good way to start the year (don't worry, I didn't learn this firsthand!)
7) Asians are still funny. Especially Asians with bongs.
8) How to pack a musket.

Hehehe... I don't remember coming home last night. It sure is good to be back!

"Back to shkool... back to shkool..." My room may be bordering on the ghetto side, but I couldn't care less. It's awesome to be back! And more importantly, it's awesome to have ethernet again! KaZaA (yes, with googly letters) is back in action, and I'm feeling fine. We got the Port and the Bud Light and the Bacardi to work on tonight in Emily's pimpin' West Quad room... only trick is getting past the authorities. But it's all good; we already just sidestepped trouble with the RA. Yeah, our RA's name is Teri, she's from Brooklyn, and she's got NYC attitude. It's cute... I think she'll be cool with all the shady dealings goin on in the Lovenest. I can't wait...

I saw Radiohead with Aaron the other night, and that rocked our respective asses hardcore. Radiohead's music is so seizure-inducing, I love it I love it I love it. "The Gloaming" rocked very extremely hardcore, "There There" beat me to a pulp, and "Exit Music" was gorgeous (once the audience stopped CLAPPING ALONG!!!) Whateva... it was worth the 50+ bucks. Sometimes I feel like a motherless child.

If Madonna didn't invent dinosaurs, who did? >:-(

grah: "The District Sleeps Tonight" and "Some Great Heights" ~ Postal Service ... actually every song by this techno-emo-synth-rock band is loverly. Props to Z for finding them and burning me their CD.

I drank wayyyy too much coffee at Denny's tonight. I won't be able to fall asleep. This blows! Caffeine always fucks me up... like, I never used to be affected that strongly by it, but for some reason for about a year now, even one Diet Coke will get my heart rate going. I had like 4 cups of coffee about 3 hours ago, and I'm still jittery. Gotta remember to stick with the decaf next time I decide to have coffee late at night! Oh well... gotta get up in time to drive to Michigan for the (rescheduled) Tori concert! I'm thsuper-jazzed about it! Alright, well I guess I'll go toss and turn in my bed for a while trying to fall asleep... later!

2) Everything that has happened in all of modern history -- and perhaps before that -- was caused by a very lethargic guinea pig.

4) Things to do while finishing off your days in the city you grew up in: uh, NOTHING!
5) Free pizza for EVERYONE!
